A huge thank you to the 147 people who joined us at Home Park Stadium for the Devon Business Show Networking Breakfast!
The Devon & Somerset LSIP team was proud to be the Breakfast Partners for this year’s Show, which returned to Plymouth Life Centre on Wednesday 16 October.
Our team hosted an epic networking session at Plymouth Argyle’s Home Park Stadium on the morning of the main event to give guests the opportunity to network with likeminded individuals who are passionate about business and what Devon has to offer.

The event featured:
- Dynamic discussions on Education and Skills, led by the Local Skills Improvement Plan Policy team.
- Opportunities to engage with key partners from the Torbay, Devon & Plymouth Careers Hub, South West Apprenticeship Ambassador Network and University of Plymouth Central Apprenticeship Hub.
- A chance to network, collaborate, and inspire change in our region’s business landscape.
We were also thrilled to welcome Mel Collins, DfE Head of the LSIP Programme, as our VIP Guest, which added even more value to the discussions.
Stuart Elford, CEO of the Devon Chamber of Commerce, said: “This year’s Devon Business Show was bigger and better, hosted for the first time at The Life Centre in Plymouth – reflecting the ‘People’ pillar of our core strategic priorities: People, Planet, and Purpose.
“This exciting venue allowed us to highlight not only more of the amazing businesses across Devon, but also the vibrant community that supports them.
“It was a fun-packed day filled with diverse exhibitors, interactive activities, games, live podcasts and high-quality networking. With the added benefits of top-notch catering and use of The Life Centre’s fantastic facilities, this was our most dynamic and engaging show yet.
“It was also the first show since the merger of the Devon & Plymouth and Exeter Chambers of Commerce, further strengthening the business community and its voice across our region.
“We hope you enjoyed the day, made new connections, and left inspired by the talent and innovation Devon has to offer!”
